What Happens in The Soul Work Center's Workshops and Groups
One-on-one sessions offer a meaningful space for personal reflection and insight. Group workshops offer something different: the opportunity to explore your own experiences while connecting with other women in a supportive and intentional space.
At The Soul Work Center, workshops are designed to create opportunities for reflection, connection, and deeper self-discovery. Here’s what you can expect when joining a group experience.
Why Group Work Is Different From a Reading
A reading is built around you specifically: your energy, your patterns, your current moment. A workshop or group adds something a one-on-one session can't: the experience of being witnessed by other women who are navigating something similar, and the realization that you are not alone.
Group work has a unique way of creating connection and insight. Sometimes hearing another person share an experience that feels familiar can bring forward new awareness, perspective, or understanding around something you may have been carrying.
What a Workshop Looks Like
Workshops are structured around a theme, personal growth and self-rediscovery, connection, or another focused topic, and combine some teaching, some guided reflection, and space for the group to talk. The format leaves room for the women in the room to participate, ask questions, and be heard.
Group sizes stay small enough that no one gets lost in the room. This is education and connection work, not group therapy, and it's built for women who want both content and community.
Who Workshops Serve
Workshops are a fit for women who:
Want the perspective of other women going through something similar, not just individual guidance
Are ready to talk about a theme (growth, self-rediscovery, connection) in a structured, supported setting
Prefer a community format to a purely one-on-one experience at this point in their process
Want practical tools and language alongside the emotional and intuitive side of the work
Some women do both: individual readings for the personal, specific work, and workshops for the community and shared-language piece.
Two Kinds of Groups Offered
Workshops at The Soul Work Center currently take two general forms: personal growth and self-rediscovery groups, focused broadly on the themes covered throughout this blog (growth, inner knowing, life transitions), and a dedicated group for women processing narcissistic abuse and toxic relationship patterns, covered in more depth in its own post. Both are education and connection-focused, rather than clinical group therapy.
What to Expect if You Join
You do not need any prior experience with group work to participate. Each workshop offers a space for reflection, connection, and meaningful exploration in a supportive environment with other women.
You are invited to show up exactly as you are, bringing any questions, intentions, or experiences you would like to explore. There is no pressure to share more than feels comfortable—your own process is honored throughout.
FAQ
Is a workshop the same as group therapy?
No. Workshops offer an opportunity for learning, reflection, connection, and personal growth in a supportive group setting. They are not structured as clinical group therapy, but they can be a meaningful space to explore yourself, gain insight, and connect with others who may be on a similar path.
If you are seeking ongoing therapeutic treatment, group therapy may be a better fit for that specific need.
Do I need to share personal details if I don't want to?
No. You're welcome to participate at whatever level feels comfortable, whether that's actively sharing or mostly listening.
How many women are typically in a group?
Groups stay intentionally small so every participant has real room to be heard.
Can I do a workshop if I've never had a one-on-one reading before?
Yes. Workshops and individual readings are separate offerings, and you're welcome to start with either one.
Ready When You Are
Group workshops offer a unique opportunity to slow down, reflect, and connect with yourself alongside other women who are also exploring their own growth and healing. If this feels aligned with where you are right now, I would love to welcome you into the space.
